Ste­fan Wehren­berg

Ste­fan Wehren­berg has been prac­tic­ing as an attor­ney for over 20 years and has exten­sive expe­ri­ence in all of the fir­m’s core legal areas (white col­lar crim­i­nal law, con­tract law and admin­is­tra­tive law). Since 2022, he holds the office of Pres­i­dent of the Swiss Mil­i­tary Supreme Court.

He has par­tic­u­lar­ly pro­found knowl­edge due to his exten­sive expe­ri­ence as a crim­i­nal defense attor­ney and as a rep­re­sen­ta­tive of oth­er clients in com­plex white-col­lar crim­i­nal pro­ceed­ings. In addi­tion, he has a broad exper­tise in the field of inter­na­tion­al crim­i­nal law, in par­tic­u­lar inter­na­tion­al assis­tance and extra­di­tion law, due to his many years of ser­vice in inter­na­tion­al courts (spe­cial tri­bunals for Rwan­da, for­mer Yugoslavia, Sier­ra Leone). Thanks to his involve­ment with var­i­ous com­pa­nies, Ste­fan Wehren­berg also has a great expe­ri­ence in the areas of com­pli­ance, anti-mon­ey laun­der­ing law and finan­cial mar­ket super­vi­sion.

Ste­fan Wehren­berg also advis­es clients on admin­is­tra­tive law, with a focus on con­struc­tion and plan­ning law, envi­ron­men­tal law, health law and sub­mis­sion pro­ce­dures. In this area, he can rely on many years of expe­ri­ence, among oth­er things as long-time pres­i­dent of the Ombud­skom­mis­sion of the Unver­sitätsSpi­tal Zürich, as legal sec­re­tary at the Health Depart­ment and as sci­en­tif­ic assis­tant at a chair for pub­lic law.
